The 2 day AGM is set in the beautiful Lakeview Inn & Suites, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The ‘Details...’ page, attached to the registration form, will help explain the events.

About ASSMT

The Alberta Society of Surveying and Mapping Technologies is a Nationally recognized Association, which provides accreditation for qualified individuals involved in surveying, mapping and related geomatics occupations.

Our members have typically graduated from a Society recognized Post-Secondary Technical Institute or College Program and have been granted certification by the Society.  ASSMT promotes continuing education, member recognition and improvement of the standard and standing of survey and mapping technicians and technologists throughout the industry.

Our Mission -
"To promote the knowledge, skill and proficiency of technicians and technologists involved in the field of surveying and mapping."

History -
ASSMT was incorporated in 1970. It is an independent society with council and its membership deciding its policies and bylaws. The Society Executive hold regular council meetings and an Annual General Meeting is held by the end of May each year.
